Retail casual sales assistant

We are seeking a Retail casual sales assistant to join the Fella Hamilton team in Kenmore, QLD. This is a casual position approximately 15-20 hrs per week, that offers flexibility whilst providing excellent customer service in a dynamic retail environment. As a Retail casual sales assistant, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding service to our customers, supporting the sales team, and contributing to the overall success of our store. This position is based on-site at our Kenmore QLD 4069 location.

What you'll be doing \n

• Greeting customers warmly and providing friendly, professional assistance throughout their shopping experience
\n
• Processing sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
\n
• Assisting customers with product information and helping them find items they are looking for
\n
• Maintaining store displays and ensuring merchandise is well-presented and properly stocked
\n
• Handling customer queries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy
\n
• Operating the till and processing payments via various methods
\n
• Supporting the team with general store duties, including tidying and organising stock areas
\n
• Promoting store products and special offers to customers
\n

What we're looking for \n

• Previous retail or customer service experience is highly desirable
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable manner
\n
• Strong numeracy skills and the ability to handle cash accurately
\n
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
\n
• Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to casual working arrangements
\n
• A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for helping customers
\n
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
\n
• Basic IT skills and familiarity with retail systems (desirable but not essential)
\n
• Weekend availability a must
\n
