Embrace Orthodontists is an expanding orthodontic practice with three locations across Canberra — Belconnen, Manuka and Gungahlin.

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

\n

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Dental Assistant who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy clinical environment and is passionate about providing exceptional patient care.

About the role \n

As a Dental Assistant at Embrace Orthodontists, you will work closely with our orthodontists and clinical team to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Key responsibilities \n

\n
• Assisting orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures
\n
• Preparing surgeries and clinical areas
\n
• Sterilisation and infection control
\n
• Providing patients with friendly and reassuring chairside support
\n
• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming clinical environment
\n
• Supporting the team with day-to-day clinical and administrative duties
\n
• Helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their orthodontic journey
\n
• Working collaboratively with our wider practice team
\n

About you \n

\n
• Qualified or experienced as a Dental Assistant - preferred
\n
• Previous orthodontic experience is highly regarded
\n
• Friendly, approachable and confident with patients
\n
• Caring and compassionate, particularly when working with children and teenagers
\n
• Reliable, punctual and highly organised
\n
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
\n
• A strong team player with a positive attitude
\n
• Professional and well presented
\n
• Keen to learn and develop their orthodontic skills
\n
• Able to work across our Belconnen, Manuka and Gungahlin locations
\n
