About the Role

\n

Reporting to the General Manager Operations, the Operations Feasibility and Planning Manager is responsible for developing the analytical, commercial and technical foundations that support future network capability. You will identify network needs, assess options, prepare business cases and develop recommendations that inform operational investment, infrastructure decisions and future capability planning.

\n

Working across asset management, recycling operations, supply chain and logistics, and operations improvement, you will ensure proposed investments and network changes are evidence based, operationally practical and commercially sound. The role focuses on front-end planning and development before approved initiatives are handed to the appropriate delivery owner for implementation. Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain an evidence-based view of future network capability requirements, including capacity, infrastructure, asset, service and operational considerations;
\n
• Assess current and future network needs by analysing operational performance, growth requirements, processing capability, logistics constraints and emerging risks or opportunities;
\n
• Prepare business cases, investment proposals and decision papers for network, infrastructure, equipment or capability initiatives;
\n
• Undertake cost-benefit analysis, option assessment, risk assessment and scenario modelling to support informed decision-making;
\n
• Coordinate technical and engineering assessment to support infrastructure decisions, equipment specification and solution evaluation;
\n
• Translate technical information into clear operational, commercial, safety and risk implications for decision-makers;
\n
• Develop concepts, requirements, scopes and planning materials for approved initiatives, and hand these over to the relevant delivery owner;
\n
• Prepare concise papers, briefings and reports to support planning, investment decisions and governance requirements;
\n
• Build effective relationships with internal teams, network partners, suppliers, contractors and external stakeholders; and
\n
• Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, validate assumptions and build alignment on proposed network development options.
