About the opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and highly organised professional to provide senior level administrative and operational support to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery Education and the Nursing and Midwifery Learning Team across Mercy Hospitals Victoria Ltd. As the Nursing and Midwifery Learning Team Administrator, you will serve as the central coordination point for the Nursing and Midwifery Education Team, providing high-level administrative, reporting and operational support. You will manage competing priorities, coordinate complex activities and ensure efficient systems and processes are in place to support the delivery of education and workforce development programs This position offers an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working in a dynamic healthcare environment and making a meaningful contribution to workforce development.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior level administrative support to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery Education and broader Learning Team.
• Coordinate education activities, learning programs, meetings, events and associated logistics across multiple sites.
• Manage databases, learning records and reporting systems, ensuring accuracy, integrity and timely distribution of information.
• Prepare professional documentation including reports, presentations, certificates, education materials and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate enquiries and stakeholder communications while maintaining exceptional customer service and professionalism.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery within the Learning Team.

• Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative support within a complex organisation.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including the ability to prepare reports, presentations and professional correspondence.
• Strong analytical and data management capabilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
• A proactive, solution-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Experience within healthcare, education or learning and development environments will be highly regarded.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining

• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
