About the Reportable Conduct Scheme Unit

The Reportable Conduct Scheme Unit (RCS Unit) manages the department's Reportable Conduct Scheme which has been implemented in accordance with the Child Safe Organisations Act 2024.In managing the Reportable Conduct Scheme, the RCS Unit is responsible for identifying, reporting and responding to allegations or convictions of reportable conduct involving departmental workers and volunteers committed against young people involved in the youth justice system.

The Senior Assessment Advisor is responsible for conducting high level assessments and preliminary enquiries into allegations of reportable conduct involving department workers and volunteers, under the Child Safe Organisations Act 2024.
