About the role
We’re seeking an experienced People & Culture Business Partner with proven commercial acumen to partner with senior leaders across assigned business units.
Reporting to the Director - People and Culture, this role operates as a true business partner, working alongside executives to understand commercial priorities, and advise on practical organisation design, talent and capability activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to executives and leaders, contributing to decisions that balance commercial performance withcultural impact
- Provide leadership coaching to all levels of organisation
- Use data, insights and commercial judgement to guide leaders on structure, capability, succession and people decisions
- Deliver to the timings of the annual people calendar, including salary reviews, budgeting, engagement survey, succession planning, performance reviews, and learning and development activities
- Lead employee relations matters with a pragmatic, risk‑aware and commercial mindset
- Support organisational change initiatives with a clear focus on outcomes, adoption, communication and business impact
This is a full‑time, in‑office role based in Warriewood on Sydney’s Northern Beaches
About You
You are a commercially minded, confident People & Culture professional who enjoys being close to the business and influencing outcomes.
You will bring:
- Strong business partnering experience with senior leaders, in fast‑moving environments
- Solid understanding of Australian employment law and employee relations
- An ability to influence, coach and challenge constructively
- An ability to quickly grasp business priorities, operational pressures and how people decisions influence commercial growth
- Confidence challenging leaders constructively using data, insight and sound judgement
- A pragmatic, solutions‑focused approach to change and complexity
- Comfort using people data to tell a story and drive action
- Experience with budget and headcount management
- Comfort with rolling your sleeves up
- A focus on delivering and ability to keep things moving
Experience in FMCG, health, wellness or pharmaceuticals, as well as exposure to multi‑regional teams will be well regarded.
