Job description

Digital Marketing and Content Specialist

$85,000 - $95,000 + Annual Performance Bonus

Help us create marketing that stands out — and converts.

Adapt Energy is looking for a highly motivated, passionate and creative Digital Marketing & Content Specialist to join our growing team partnering directly with our Marketing Director to bring our marketing strategy and campaigns to life.

We’re not looking for someone who just schedules posts or follows a marketing calendar.

We’re looking for a hands‑on marketer who genuinely loves marketing — someone with the creative eye to develop stand‑out, on‑brand content and the technical capability to build, launch, optimise and measure the campaigns behind it.

You’ll work closely with our Marketing Director across both our residential and commercial energy divisions, helping execute different strategies, messaging, creative and targeting for each audience.

From an attention‑grabbing Meta ad to a commercial LinkedIn campaign, an automated nurture funnel, customer testimonial video, email campaign or SEO article — you’ll help bring the entire campaign together.

What you’ll be doing

Partnering directly with our Marketing Director, you’ll help develop and execute high‑converting marketing campaigns across the entire customer journey including:

Meta Ads – campaign creation, targeting, creative development, testing and optimisation

Google Ads – search and performance campaigns

LinkedIn – organic content and paid campaigns targeting commercial decision‑makers

Organic social content across our digital platforms

Lead nurture sequences, automations and sales funnels

GoHighLevel campaign management, workflows and automation

Email marketing – campaigns, database marketing and nurture sequences

Customer testimonial videos – helping coordinate, shoot and edit compelling customer stories

Video advertising – developing strong Hook → Body → CTA concepts and creative

Short‑form video content for social and paid advertising

Still‑image ads and carousel campaigns

Graphic design and brand assets using Canva and other creative tools

Video editing using CapCut or similar platforms

SEO strategy and implementation

Blogs, articles and website content

WordPress website updates, landing pages and optimisation

Campaign tracking, analytics and conversion optimisation

Continually testing new ideas, creative, messaging and channels to improve results

The person we’re looking for

You don’t necessarily need to be an expert in every single area above. What matters most is that you’re passionate about marketing, technically capable, commercially minded, creative and eager to keep learning.

You’ll ideally have a combination of:

Strong digital and performance marketing skills

Experience with Meta, Google and LinkedIn

An understanding of lead generation, funnels, automation and conversion optimisation

Experience with GoHighLevel or similar CRM/marketing automation platforms

Strong copywriting instincts and an understanding of what makes people stop, engage and take action

An eye for graphic design, branding and visual consistency

CapCut or other video editing experience

Confidence creating both video and still‑image content

WordPress experience

SEO knowledge

An understanding of email marketing and nurture campaigns

The ability to understand campaign data and use it to improve performance

Strong attention to detail

The confidence to contribute ideas rather than simply wait for instructions

A willingness to test, learn quickly and continuously improve

Most importantly, we want someone who genuinely loves marketing.

You’re the type of person who notices a great ad, saves a clever campaign, thinks about the hook and is constantly looking for new ways to make marketing more effective.

About Adapt Energy

Adapt Energy is an award winning Australian solar, battery and energy solutions retailer helping homeowners and businesses take greater control of their energy costs and transition towards green and sustainable energy independence.

Operating since 2015, we’ve delivered thousands of renewable energy solutions for homeowners, businesses and organisations. We align ourselves with leading technology partners and focuses on delivering genuine long‑term outcomes rather than simply selling the cheapest solution.

We care about doing things properly. That means carefully designed solutions, quality products, great installations, long‑term support and marketing that accurately represents the value we provide.

You’ll be joining an award‑winning, established renewable energy company with a genuine commitment to our customers, our people and creating sustainable, win‑win solutions.

Just as importantly, Adapt Energy is a genuinely great place to work.

We place a huge amount of importance on our people and the culture we’ve built. Our team consistently rates our workplace culture highly, and we’re proud to have created an environment that is supportive, collaborative, fun and rewarding — where people work hard, enjoy coming to work and are recognised for the contribution they make.

We firmly believe that great business should create positive outcomes for all involved — our customers, our team, our partners and the environment.

We live and breathe this in all we do. This philosophy sits behind both the solutions we recommend and the way we market them. Authentic, trustworthy, creative and genuinely useful — while standing out and delivering strong commercial results.

This isn’t a narrow marketing role. You’ll have the opportunity to work across:

Strategy. Advertising. Content. Video. Design. Automation. SEO. Email. Websites. Lead generation. Conversion optimisation.

You’ll have plenty of variety, the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and the ability to have a genuine influence over how the Adapt Energy brand and marketing strategy develops.

As the business grows, your role and opportunities will grow too.

What we offer

$85,000 – $95,000 salary, depending on experience

Annual performance bonus

The opportunity to work directly alongside and learn from our Marketing Director

A broad, varied role where you’ll see your ideas move from concept through to execution

Genuine creative input and ownership

A supportive, collaborative and highly rated workplace culture

A fun and rewarding team environment

The stability of an established Australian business combined with the opportunities of a growing company

The opportunity to build your career in one of Australia's fastest‑evolving industries
