The Company...
Our client is a highly regarded NSW Government organisation seeking an experienced Executive Support professional to join its dynamic team. This role will provide high-level executive, administrative and ministerial support to the Executive Director, ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of day-to-day operations.

This is a contract opportunity commencing ASAP through to 24 December 2026, offering the opportunity to work within a collaborative team and contribute to significant initiatives across NSW.

The role is offered on a hybrid basis, with an expectation to work across Parramatta, Sydney CBD and from home.

The Job...
During this exciting Executive Assistant contract, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage the Executive Director’s calendar, records, correspondence, travel arrangements and meeting coordination, including gatekeeping and secretariat responsibilities.
  • Provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Executive Director, ensuring priorities are effectively managed and day-to-day operations run smoothly.
  • Triage, prioritise and coordinate incoming requests, ensuring matters are appropriately actioned and responses are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Undertake research and prepare high-quality briefings, reports, presentations and other executive documentation as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring information is securely stored.

To be successful in this Executive Assistant role, you must have experience in the following:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting senior executives in an Executive Assistant role.
  • NSW Government or broader public sector experience highly desirable.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
