Accounts Payable Officer

MARS Recruitment is partnering with a construction organisation to recruit a Junior Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team in Revesby.

The business is open to both full-time and part-time candidates, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to build their Accounts Payable experience while having some flexibility around their working week.

The Role:

Working as part of the Accounts Payable team, your responsibilities will include:

• Processing and coding supplier invoices and matching against purchase orders.
• Completing supplier statement reconciliations.
• Responding to supplier queries and maintaining accurate supplier records.
• Supporting payment runs and general AP processing.
• Assisting with month-end AP tasks and reconciliations.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Supporting the wider AP team with general finance tasks.

About You:

• Minimum of 1 year' Accounts Payable or finance experience.
• A good basic understanding of the AP process.
• Experience using an ERP or accounting system.
• Good Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A willingness to learn and develop.
