As a Metal Fabricator at Kennedy Welding, you'll play a crucial role in our operations, contributing to the high-quality standards that our clients expect. You will be instrumental in ensuring project success, working closely with a skilled team to deliver outstanding results in both mobile and in-house welding projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform metal fabrication and welding tasks as per project requirements.

  • Interpret technical drawings and plans for accurate execution.

  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
    • \n
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines.
    • \n
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections on completed work.
    • \n
  • Handle welding equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
    • \n
  • Assist in the preparation of quotes by providing technical insights.
    • \n
  • Participate on-site visits to evaluate project needs.
    • \n
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
    • \n
  • Continuously seek to improve techniques and efficiency.

About you

  • Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role.
    • \n
  • Strong understanding of welding techniques and safety standards.
    • \n
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
    • \n
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • \n
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as a team.
    • \n
  • A proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
    • \n
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role is required.
    • \n
