Join our dedicated team at Westmead Hospital as a caseload Midwife on a 12 month temporary contract with the potential for permanency.
\n This is a unique opportunity to provide continuity of care while working across diverse and rewarding models including Homebirth, Aboriginal Maternity Care and supporting vulnerable populations, upholding a outlook of cultural respect and improving outcomes for families in our community.

What you'll be doing
\n
In this rewarding caseload midwifery role, you will provide evidence-based, woman-centred care across the full maternity journey, including community and homebirth settings.
\n
Within this role you will:
\n
Manage a caseload delivering antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
\n
Provide on-call support for labour and birth in hospital or at home.
\n
Deliver education, health promotion and support to women and families.
\n
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community services.
\n
Support culturally safe, high-quality care and continuous improvement initiatives.
\n
Qualification: Midwifery
\n
Registration: Current and valid registration as a Registered Midwife ( Division 1) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
\n
Current Driver's License valid in Australia and willing to use for work purposes.
\n
