Suncoast Skips is a long-established local Sunshine Coast Skip business and Recovery Centre based in Coolum, servicing commercial and residential builders, all trades and the public from Gympie to North Brisbane.
Great customer service is the foundation of what we do, whether it's from our Drivers, our Resource Recovery Team, or our Office Personnel.
Our business is seeking a Talented Scheduler/Co-ordinator/Administrator to support and grow with the business.
First point of contact for all customers - builders, trades, public, etc.
Schedule Truck Drivers & Daily Job Sheets using industry specific software (prior scheduling experience in any field well regarded).
Manage busy days, multiple drivers and tracking to ensure our customer needs are met.
Confident, positive & helpful phone manner to maintain and nurture existing valued customers and develop new ones.
Professional communication (both verbal & written) with a diverse range of groups is crucial.
Requires a high level of attention to detail / accurate job entry.
Requires familiarity with the Sunshine Coast Region.
Building Industry knowledge well regarded.
Knowledge of Xero well regarded.
Remuneration commensurate with experience.
Crucial is an exceptional knowledge of the Sunshine Coast suburbs / geographical area from Gympie to North Brisbane.
You have Scheduling experience (in any field, however transport will be highly regarded).
You are familiar with the building industry (or have worked in an associated role).
You are highly organised, calm & not easily flustered, with the ability to juggle multiple issues at times.
Naturally possess a professional and helpful phone manner with a focus on quality customer service.
You have intermediate Microsoft 365 computer skills (including Excel), ideally with experience in preparation and maintenance of Tracking Registers.
You are quietly confident in manner, and ensuring compliance from other staff and managers comes second nature.
You have exceptional attention to detail and good written and verbal communication skills.
You can work both independently and as part of a team, and are a motivated, self-starter who is willing to understand and support the needs of both the team and the business as a whole - with good humour and a natural warmth.
This role is Full time, Monday to Friday, 6.30am - 3pm.
You will be joining a small, close knit office team who enjoy a good working relationship in a relaxed but motivated workplace. This role experiences very low turnover and is genuinely a happy place to work.
