As our Sales Manager, Retirement Communities, you'll play a vital role in supporting older Australians and their families as they make one of life's most important decisions, finding a retirement community they can proudly call home. You'll be responsible for driving occupancy growth across our Peninsula Grange and Morven Manor communities on the Mornington Peninsula while delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the resident journey.

About the Opportunity: \n

Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager VIC, you will lead all sales activity across two established retirement communities. This is a highly consultative role where you'll engage with prospective residents, their families and trusted advisors to understand their needs and guide them through the retirement living decision-making process.

\n

You'll be responsible for developing and executing local sales strategies, building community partnerships, generating qualified leads, managing a strong sales pipeline and converting enquiries into successful residency outcomes. You'll also support property resales and work closely with operational, marketing and legal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

What you’ll do \n

• Driving occupancy growth and achieving sales targets across Peninsula Grange and Morven Manor.
\n
• Managing the end-to-end sales journey from enquiry through to settlement and move-in.
\n
• Building strong relationships with prospective residents, families and referral partners.
\n
• Developing local business development opportunities and community partnerships to generate new leads.
\n
• Representing Australian Unity at community events, expos and networking opportunities.
\n
• Maintaining accurate sales activity, reporting and forecasting through Salesforce CRM.
\n
• Collaborating with marketing, legal, operations and village management teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

About You: \n

We're seeking an experienced sales professional who thrives in relationship-based environments and genuinely enjoys helping customers navigate important life decisions. You will bring a proven track record of achieving sales results, developing trusted relationships and managing complex stakeholder conversations. You will be comfortable working autonomously while also collaborating with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. Experience within retirement living, aged care, property, real estate or another high-trust service industry will be highly regarded. You will possess strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a sales pipeline through to successful outcomes. You will also have experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
