AAV4x4 is looking for a bubbly, personable and motivated Salesperson to join our team.
We specialise in 4WD trucks and truck accessories, helping customers create capable, purpose-built vehicles for work, travel, touring and adventure.
You don’t need to know everything about trucks and accessories from day one. If you have the interest, enthusiasm and the right attitude, we can teach you the product knowledge.
The Role
You’ll be dealing directly with customers throughout the sales process, from their first enquiry through to their truck being built and delivered.
Your responsibilities will include:
Responding to customer enquiries in person, by phone and via email
Understanding what customers want from their truck and helping them choose the right products
Preparing quotes and following up leads
Selling 4WD trucks and accessories
Placing orders and coordinating jobs with the workshop
Managing customer orders and keeping customers updated
Preparing invoices and completing general sales administration
Building strong relationships with customers
Working with the team to ensure a smooth customer experience from sale through to completion
Representing AAV4x4 at up to 10 shows and events throughout the year
Attending shows will involve some weekend work
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
Bubbly, outgoing and personable
Naturally confident and comfortable talking to customers
Interested in 4WD trucks, accessories, travel and adventure
A good listener who can understand what a customer is looking for
Confident with written and spoken communication
Comfortable using computers and everyday sales software
Organised and able to manage multiple customers and orders
Motivated by sales and achieving results
Reliable, enthusiastic and a great team player
Willing to learn and get stuck in
You don't need to be a truck expert.
Maybe you already know your way around a 4WD truck and can talk suspension, canopies, bull bars and touring setups all day.
Or maybe you just love trucks and want to learn.
Either way, we're interested in meeting you.
We can teach you the technical and product knowledge. What we can’t teach is personality, enthusiasm and a genuine interest in what we do.
