Parc Pavilion is an 800-seat venue in the heart of Cronulla. This expansive venue, spanning two floors, offers a diverse range of dining experiences, including a ground-floor bistro and café, takeaway offer, a first-floor bistro and cocktail bar, an Italian restaurant, and private dining areas, all serviced by two state-of-the-art kitchens.

What is the role? \n

• As a Chef or Cook you will work with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional food to our customers.
\n
• Being responsible for daily food preparation and service.
\n
• Maintaining expected quality of food.
\n
• Monitoring food safety requirements.
\n
• Day to day operation of a busy section.
\n
• Ensure efficiency, quality and time management.
\n
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Liaising with the senior chefs in the smooth running of the kitchen.
\n
• Provide training to new kitchen team members.
\n
• Good knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and HACCP.
\n

What is needed to be successful in this role? \n

\n
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a professional environment
\n
• Completed trade qualifications to a minimum Certificate III
\n
• Able to work a rotating roster across Monday to Sunday including weekends, nights and public holidays
\n
• Ability to manage own sections and deliver a consistently high standard of food throughout serviceFood hygiene compliance, knowledge and practices
\n
• Flexible and willing attitude, clear communication and customer service skills
\n
• Immaculate grooming and pride in presentation
\n
