A genuine four-day week

\n

We work Tuesday to Friday, so every Saturday, Sunday and Monday is yours.

\n

Great pay with a clear path to earn more

\n

We believe experienced hairdressers should be paid well, and we like our team to know exactly how their pay can grow.

\n

Our current qualified stylist pay levels are:

\n

\n
• Graduate Stylist - $32.41 per hour Generally your first 12 months after qualifying
\n
• Senior Stylist - $35.51 per hour Generally around 1-3 years qualified
\n
• Advanced Stylist - $38.73 per hour Generally 3+ years qualified and the highest level a new team member can start at
\n
• Expert Stylist - $40.68 per hour
\n
• Lead Stylist - $42.70 per hour
\n
• Master Stylist - $44.82 per hour
\n

\n

Plus super and regular commission.

\n

If you're joining Elysium, your starting level will depend on your experience and capability, with Advanced Stylist being the highest starting level.

\n

From there, there's a clear pathway to keep progressing.

\n

Team members can move up one pay level each year. So if you look after your guests well, build strong relationships and continue growing with us, your pay will keep moving too.

\n

On top of that, our pay rates also increase each year in line with government Award increases, even though our rates are already well above Award.

\n

For someone progressing through Elysium, the pathway can look like:

\n

Graduate → Senior → Advanced → Expert → Lead → Master

\n

It's a simple system designed to reward loyalty, consistency and the great relationships you build with your guests and ensure you are paid more based on your experience.

Guests ready to book with you

\n

You don't need to bring a clientele with you. We're an established, busy Brisbane City salon with a large loyal guest base, so you won't be starting from scratch.

\n

We take care of the rest

\n

No chair rent. No worrying about stock, marketing, software, bookings or all the things that come with running your own business. You can focus on your guests, your hairdressing and earning well.

\n

A team you'll genuinely enjoy being part of

We're friendly, supportive and professional, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. We want Elysium to be somewhere our team enjoys coming to work.

Beautiful products and ongoing education

\n

You'll work with premium brands including Kérastase, Kevin Murphy, K18, Olaplex, Clever Curl and GHD, with ongoing education and opportunities to keep developing your skills.

If you enjoy being involved in the bigger picture, there are opportunities to support the team, get involved in education, guest experience and the day-to-day running of the salon.

This isn't a traditional salon manager role and we're not looking for someone to do everything.

About you

You'll be a fully qualified, experienced hairdresser who enjoys looking after people and doing great hair.

\n

You don't need to be everything to everyone.

\n
