Synergie is partnering with a leading organisation in the transport and logistics sector to recruit an experienced Yellow/White Gear Administration Assistant for an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment and supporting a busy fleet team.

This is a 3-month contract position based fully onsite in Beresfield, working Monday to Friday.

  • $38.89 per hour + super

  • Supportive and collaborative fleet operations team

What you will be required to do

  • Coordinate and maintain fleet-related data, systems, administration and processes
  • Provide administration support to a busy fleet operations team
  • Process fleet repair work orders through internal systems
  • Raise purchase orders in line with company compliance requirements
  • Assist with the management of equipment servicing and repairs
  • Liaise with drivers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Enter and maintain meter readings accurately
  • Raise, update and close work orders
  • Complete general administrative and data entry tasks as required
  • Ensure records are maintained accurately and in a timely manner

To be successful in the role you will

  • Have previous administration experience within fleet, transport, logistics or similar industries
  • Demonstrate strong customer service and stakeholder management skills
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Have experience using fleet management or maintenance systems
  • Possess excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Be able to quickly learn new systems and processes
  • Have the ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety
  • Be reliable, punctual and have a strong work ethic

Highly regarded

  • Experience with JDE, Preceda or UKG
  • Understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation
  • Previous exposure to the road transport industry
