Your New Role

As a Data Engineer, you'll design, build, and maintain robust data infrastructures that power business intelligence and analytics.

Your work will ensure data is accurate, accessible, and optimised for decision-making.

Some responsibilities include :

  • Optimising database performance, including indexing, query optimisation, and resource management;
  • Designing data solutions that can scale with the growth of data and organisational demands;
  • Actively promoting the sharing of knowledge and providing training to stakeholders and other IT Services employees as required;

How do you exceed our expectations?

  • 2+ years in data engineering or similar role;
  • Strong SQL expertise, proficiency in Azure services (Data Factory, Blob Storage, Synapse Workspace);
  • Knowledge of Snowflake and data modelling (dimensional and vault preferred);
  • Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards;
  • Problem-solving, attention to detail, and strong communication;
  • You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face.
