Role Overview

In a newly created role, this is a great opportunity for someone to broaden their exposure within Financial Analysis in an ANZ Subsidiary of a global organisation. The role offers candidates an opportunity to work with a progressive finance team and could be seen as a development path to a Senior FP&A role in the future.

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Drive sales, gross margin and profitability analysis, providing actionable insights and partnering with senior stakeholders
\n
• Deliver management reports, dashboards, KPIs, OPEX analysis and recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.
\n
• Develop financial models and business cases to support strategic initiatives, investments, product portfolios, pricing, procurement, vendors and contract negotiations.
\n
• Partner with the Finance Director to support the annual budgeting process and monthly rolling forecasts
\n
• Identify business risks and improvement opportunities and act as a Business Partner to operational teams.

Candidate Profile

This role is a brilliant opportunity for a candidate who is seeking a role which provides financial and commercial support within a subsidiary of a global business. For the right candidate, this role offers a genuine career path to a more senior role in the future. The ideal candidate will be CA / CPA Qualified; however non-qualified candidates will be considered. It is required, that the candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence both financial and non-financial stakeholders. ERP experience eg SAP, Oracle, D365, Navision is paramount alongside advanced MS Excel skills and prior use of Power Bi.

Based in North West Sydney, this is a regional office of a global manufacturer. The opportunity exists for someone to develop their career, and be mentored by, a strong finance team. Hybrid working on offer 3 days per week in the office with the business located close to public transport links.
