The Brazilian Hut is seeking an experienced Senior Beauty Therapist to join our established Mooloolaba salon.

We specialise in professional waxing for women and men , with a strong focus on Brazilian waxing, brows, lashes and exceptional client care.

This position is suited to an experienced therapist who is confident working in a busy, fast-paced salon environment , enjoys working as part of a team and is looking for a stable, long-term full-time role.

Services & Responsibilities \n

You will be required to confidently perform a range of beauty services, including:

\n

\n
• Full body waxing for women and men
\n
• Brazilian waxing
\n
• Brow shaping and brow makeovers
\n
• Brow lamination
\n
• Lash lifts
\n
• Tinting, hybrid dye and henna
\n
• Threading
\n
• Client consultation and aftercare
\n
• Retail product recommendations and sales
\n

\n

There will also be opportunities to train in and provide additional beauty and wellness services, including:

\n
• LED treatments
\n
• Skin needling
\n
• Skin lightening services
\n

Senior Therapist Responsibilities \n

\n
• Manage appointment flow and maintain efficient service timing
\n
• Deliver consistently high standards of client care
\n
• Contribute to and meet service and retail sales targets
\n
• Maintain salon presentation and cleanliness standards
\n
• Ensure health, hygiene and safety procedures are consistently followed
\n
• Work confidently and independently with clients
\n
• Provide efficient services while maintaining exceptional standards according to TBH standards
\n
• Have excellent time management and maintain appointment timing
\n
• Build rapport and develop strong, long-term client relationships
\n
• Follow established salon systems, service procedures and protocols
\n
• Work positively and professionally as part of a team
\n
• Take pride in your work and the overall client experience
\n

Roster \n

This is a FULL-TIME position and is not suitable for applicants seeking part-time or casual employment.

\n

The successful applicant must be available for:

\n

\n
• A permanent fixed full-time roster
\n
• Permanent evening shifts on rostered days
\n
• Rotating Saturday and Sunday shifts
\n

\n

Essential Requirements \n

To be considered, you must have:

\n

\n
• Diploma in Beauty Therapy
\n
• Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience working in a professional salon or spa
\n
• Strong waxing experience
\n
• Confidence performing beauty services independently
\n
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
\n
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
\n
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced salon
\n
• Professional presentation and a positive team attitude
\n
• Commitment to a permanent full-time position
\n

Beauty college practical or training days are not considered professional salon experience for this position.
