The Royal Hotel Nundah is a vibrant community venue offering something for everyone. From great food and drinks to gaming, live sport and regular entertainment, it's a venue that keeps locals coming back. With a strong focus on genuine hospitality and memorable guest experiences, we're looking for a passionate Duty Manager to help lead our team.

What You'll Be Doing

\n

Reporting to the Venue Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the venue by:

• Opening and closing the venue.
\n
• Leading, motivating and supporting the team during busy service periods.
\n
• Coaching, training and developing team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
\n
• Driving shift performance while maintaining high service, presentation and compliance standards.
\n
• Supporting venue profitability through labour management and operational efficiency.
\n
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, licensing requirements and gaming regulations.
\n
• Leading from the floor and creating a positive, high-performing team culture.
\n

What We're Looking For

\n

\n
• At least 1 year's experience as a Duty Manager or in a more senior hospitality leadership role.
\n
• Current RMLV and Approved Manager Licence.
\n
• Strong food & beverage knowledge with experience in gaming operations.
\n
• A hands-on leadership style and a passion for developing people.
\n
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
\n
• The ability to remain calm and lead confidently in a fast-paced environment.
