Senior Procurement Manager

This temp cover is an exciting opportunity for an experienced procurement manager to drive strategic sourcing, supplier management and commercial outcomes within a highly regulated financial services environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to influence key commercial decisions, lead a capable team and contribute to the ongoing development of procurement and supplier governance capabilities.
partner with stakeholders across Technology, Risk, Legal and the broader business to deliver end-to-end sourcing and contracting activities.

Duration: 14 weeks (possibility for extension)
Location: Sydney / Melbourne
Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

• Lead RFx processes, strategic sourcing initiatives and procurement projects.
• Drive supplier selection, contract negotiations and commercial outcomes.
• Develop sourcing strategies and category plans aligned to business objectives.
• Partner with stakeholders on business cases, procurement strategies and supplier evaluations.
• Ensure effective procurement governance, supplier risk management and compliance with outsourcing obligations, in-line with APRA CPS 230 requirements.
• Deliver cost savings, supplier value-add and process improvements.

About You

• 6+ years' experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or commercial management.
• Background within financial services, with strong knowledge of CPS 230 supplier risk management, governance frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong experience leading RFx activities, complex contract negotiations and supplier management.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to drive commercial value and supplier outcomes whilst balancing effective governance, risk and regulatory obligations.
