Located on the sparkling northern beaches of Cairns and proudly sitting within the Trinity Beach sporting precinct, Trinity Beach Sports Club is the home of the Centrals Trinity Beach Bulldogs AFL team and a true community hub. With a family-friendly restaurant open seven days, a kids' area, and a spacious outdoor patio overlooking Crathern Park Oval, there's always a reason to visit. We're now looking for an experienced, hands-on Duty Manager to join our team and be part of something the community is proud of.

\nAbout the role \n
\n

We require an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our busy team in the capacity of casual Duty Manager. This hands-on role will require outstanding customer service, being able to lead by example and an ability to offer clear direction and supervision to staff.

Rates are per Registered and Licensed Club Award, late work and weekend penalty rates apply

\nKey responsibilities \n
\n

\n
• Lead by example and offer clear direction and supervision to staff
\n
\n
• Deliver outstanding customer service
\n
\n
• Handle cash accurately
\n
\n
• Perform manual handling tasks (lifting, pushing, moving and pulling) for any setup requirements
\n
\n
• Work a variety of shifts including days, weekends and nights until 3am
\n
\n
• Deal with conflict and conflict resolution
\n
\n
• Multi-task with keen attention to detail
\n
\n

• Over 3 years' experience in the industry and looking to step up
\n
\n
• Very high skill level in dealing with conflict and conflict resolution
\n
\n
• Staff management skills
\n
\n
• Strong communication and highly developed interpersonal skills
\n
\n
• Extremely flexible and able to multi-task with a keen attention to detail
\n
\n
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
\n
\n
• Accurate cash handling skills
\n
\n
• Current RSA, RSG Statement of Attainment, RMLV, Approved Manager (desirable but not essential) and First Aid Certificate
\n
\n
• Proven track record in understanding and delivering exceptional customer service
\n
\n
• Australian citizen or permanent resident with full working rights
\n
\n
