Senior Property Officer - Land and Crown Aquisitions \n

As aSenior Officer Property Acquisitions , you’ll play a lead role in end-to-end land and property acquisition processes, ensuring timely project delivery while managing negotiations, conveyancing, and strategic property advice.

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Lead acquisition strategies and manage property transactions for transport and infrastructure projects
\n
• Conduct valuations, negotiations, and documentation for property acquisitions, easements, and covenants
\n
• Provide specialist property advice and conduct due diligence to inform project decisions
\n
• Interpret complex property documentation including valuations, town planning advice, and legal materials
\n
• Engage effectively with stakeholders, including landholders, to ensure smooth acquisition processes
\n
• Support budget development and monitor expenditure for property aspects of projects
\n

Must Haves: \n

\n
• Degree in Law, Property, Conveyancing, or related discipline
\n
• Demonstrated experience in property/land acquisitions,preferably within public sector or infrastructure projects
\n
• Strong understanding of NSW property law and acquisition procedures
\n
• Practical conveyancing experience (contracts, easements, covenants)
\n

Desirable: \n

\n
• Postgraduate qualifications in property, business, planning, or valuation disciplines
\n
• Specialist training or professional education in regulatory aspects of property law and contract administration
\n
