Personal Injury Lawyer - 1–3 years PAE preferred \n

We are seeking a motivated and personable Personal Injury Lawyer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer looking to develop their career in personal injury law within a supportive and collaborative environment. You will work closely with experienced lawyers and have genuine exposure to matters from initial instruction through to resolution.

Key responsibilities

\n

\n
• Managing a portfolio of personal injury matters with appropriate supervision and support.
\n
• Taking instructions from clients and maintaining strong client relationships.
\n
• Conducting legal research and providing advice on liability, damages and prospects.
\n
• Drafting correspondence, statements, pleadings and other legal documents.
\n
• Obtaining and reviewing medical and other expert evidence.
\n
• Liaising with insurers, solicitors, barristers, medical practitioners and other stakeholders.
\n
• Assisting with settlement negotiations, mediations and conferences.
\n
• Preparing briefs to counsel and expert witnesses.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic files and ensuring all critical dates are diarised.
\n
• Progressing matters efficiently and meeting court and statutory deadlines.
\n

About you

\n

\n
• Admitted as a solicitor in NSW, or approaching admission.
\n
• Ideally has 1–3 years' PAE, preferably with personal injury or litigation experience.
\n
• A confident and compassionate communicator who enjoys working with clients.
\n
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
\n
• Proactive and able to take responsibility for progressing matters.
\n
• A strong written communicator with good drafting skills.
\n
• Interested in developing a long-term career in personal injury law.
\n
• A positive team member who is willing to learn and contribute to a supportive workplace.
\n
