Strategy and Transaction Execution is a market leading team within the EY-Parthenon division that helps clients define and achieve their strategic objectives in acquisitions, divestments and strategic transformations.

We cover a wide range of operational aspects in a transaction from deal inception, execution and through to longer-term transformation. Our services include operational due diligence, operating model design, synergy assessments, integration and separation strategy, planning & implementation. In addition, we identify value creation opportunities driven by transactions and AI, reviewing our client’s strategy and operating model changes to optimise their cost structures.

As an experienced Senior Consultant or Manager, you will become part of an established team that values innovative thinking and provides you with the tools to design a career path as unique as you are.

This is a hybrid position based in Naam – Melbourne.

Your key responsibilities

• Define and implement value creation, transformation and transaction strategy
• Analyse and evaluate operating models and financial information
• Identify key client risks, issues and mitigate these ahead of time
• Develop and present key deliverables to clients
• Conduct research and analysis into key sectors and clients
• Support in business development activities
• Collaborate widely with the broader EY-Parthenon division and other teams within EY

Skills and attributes for success

Ideally,you’llalsohave the skills and attributes belowbutdon’tworry ifyoudon’ttick all the boxes.We’reinterestedin youraptitude,attitudeand willingness to learn.

• 3+ years of experience
• Advanced problem-solving skills, curiosity and creative thinking
• Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis and with leveraging AI tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in delivering high-quality reports and presentations
• Adept at building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and clients
• Driven, but with high EQ
• Proficient at Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Transaction or organisational transformation experience is a plus
