Logistics & Operations Assistant

Australian Tartaric Products is a leading international manufacturer of food-grade Grape Seed Oil, Tartaric Acid, and Grape Spirit, located in Colignan in the Mildura region. We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art processing facilities, including a distillery and biomass boiler, and are committed to delivering high-quality products to customers around the world.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a full-time Logistics & Operations Assistant to join our dedicated team. Working alongside our production and logistics teams, you will assist with warehouse operations, product despatch and general factory operations. This is a hands-on day shift position, with overtime available when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with warehouse operations
• Loading of tankers and export containers
• Assist with general production and factory operations
• Operate mobile plant and equipment when trained and authorised
• Seasonal product batching as required
• Conduct monthly warehouse stocktakes
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Report equipment faults, hazards, incidents and quality issues
• Complete required production and quality documentation
• Follow company safety, quality and environmental procedures

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a factory, warehouse or manufacturing environment is advantageous
• Experience working with dangerous goods or hazardous substances is advantageous
• A valid forklift licence and relevant experience
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new skills and participate in training and job rotation
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain a high standard of housekeeping
