Job Description
The position of Public Health Physician is a Senior Medical Position and carries with it the professional responsibilities of public health leadership, teaching and training as well as administrative requirements. The position of Public Health Physician reports to the Clinical Unit Head – Public Health Unit and is expected to provide high level public health medical input into the Loddon-Mallee Public Health Unit (LMPHU). The role has a strong focus on health protection with opportunities to provide public health medical expertise to the unit's population health work.

This is a fixed-term opportunity, offering flexibility and work-life balance with the potential for extension. Work 42 hours per fortnight (0.6 FTE).

The following qualifications are essential for consideration:

- Current AHPRA medical registration and relevant specialist qualification. \n
- Fellowship of the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine, or another specialist qualification with substantial demonstrated public health expertise. \n
