JOB SUMMARY

- \n
- Prepare and analyze required financial information to support Senior Director – Finance Operations ANZP for monthly performance review calls and adhere to deadlines submission to APEC office. \n
- Work with concerned departments in relation to MI receivables related matters. \n
- Review monthly MI receivables and coordinate collection time table with hotel’s Finance Leaders. \n
- Monitor and establish effective internal control procedures. \n
- Communicate regularly with hotel’s Finance Leaders on finance related matters to ensure consistent compliance with corporate policy. \n
- Work closely with hotel’s Finance Leaders during monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process. Highlight the variance on budget versus actual result on regular basis and suggest/implement action plan to ensure budget/forecast is met. \n
- Handle audits and taxation related issues by liaise with compliance team and internal tax department. \n
- Able to work on all entity related compliance and reporting’s. \n
- Submission of monthly and quarterly report required from APEC office timely. \n
- Uses problem solving methodology for decision making and follow up. \n
- Presents ideas, expectations, and information in a concise well-organized way. \n
- Manage time well and possesses strong organizational skills. \n
- Informs and/or updates the executives and the peers on relevant information in a timely manner. \n
- Able to work under minimum supervision. \n
- Handle ad hoc operations issues/projects/assignments. \n

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience
\n
- \n
- Degree holder in Accounting and/or professional qualifications in Accounting (ACCA, CPA, CA) \n
- At least 5 years of experience in similar Finance/Accounting role \n
- Experience with accounting software such as Peoplesoft will be advantageous \n
