Maintenance Electrician | Permanent Night Shift | $60/hr + Penalties \n
Our client is looking for an experienced A-Grade Maintenance Electrician to join their permanent maintenance team at a well-established food manufacturing site in Broadmeadows.

This is a dedicated night-shift position, working 6:00pm to 6:00am, with a strong hourly rate and applicable shift and weekend penalties.

The role \n
You’ll be responsible for keeping production machinery running safely and reliably, including:

- Preventative and breakdown maintenance \n
- Electrical fault finding and diagnostics \n
- Troubleshooting production machinery \n
- Electrical control systems \n
- Planned maintenance and inspectionsMachinery installations, upgrades and commissioning \n
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings \n
- Working with Production to minimise downtime \n
- Completing maintenance records and documentation \n
What you need \n
- \n
- Current A-Grade Electrical Licence – essential \n
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Electrician \n
- Manufacturing, industrial or production maintenance experience \n
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills \n
- Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance \n
- Ability to read electrical drawings \n
- PLC fault-finding experience highly regarded \n
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills \n

Food manufacturing experience is not essential.
