Job Description

JAX Tyres & Auto Caloundra is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Saleperson to join our busy tyre and mechanical workshop. This is a front-line role where you'll be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find the right tyres, wheels, and automotive services for their vehicles.

As a Salesperson, you'll work alongside our experienced mechanics and fitters, advising customers on tyre selection, booking in services, and ensuring a smooth, professional experience from enquiry to drive-away.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Greet and assist customers in-store and over the phone
\n
• - Provide expert advice on tyre brands, sizes, and suitability for customer vehicles
\n
• - Quote and sell tyres, wheels, and automotive services
\n
• - Book customer appointments for tyre fitting, wheel alignments, logbook servicing, brakes, and suspension work
\n
• - Process sales transactions and manage point-of-sale systems
\n
• - Coordinate with workshop staff to ensure timely job completion
\n
• - Maintain showroom and retail area presentation
\n
• - Follow up with customers on completed work and future service needs
\n
• - Promote current offers, promotions, and loyalty programs
\n
• - Assist with stock management and ordering where required
\n

What We're Looking For:

• - Previous experience in retail sales, automotive, or a similar customer-facing role
\n
• - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
\n
• - A genuine interest in helping customers and solving problems
\n
• - Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
\n
• - Basic computer literacy and comfort with point-of-sale systems
\n
• - A current driver's licence
\n
• - Automotive knowledge is an advantage but not essential - full training will be provided
\n
