  • Accommodation subsidised up to 6 months
  • Monday to Friday - Permanent Full time position
  • Potential Sponsorship available for AHPRA registered nurses who are in Australia or NZ but must have had Clinical Management experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Oversee clinical governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation requirements, legislative obligations and organisational policies, while proactively managing clinical risk and quality outcomes.
  • Lead the development, implementation and ongoing review of comprehensive care plans, conduct complex clinical assessments and reviews, and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives that enhance resident wellbeing and service delivery.
  • Coach, mentor and develop clinical teams through education, performance feedback and professional development, building capability, promoting best practice and supporting staff to deliver safe, high-quality care.
  • Work collaboratively with residents, families, General Practitioners, allied health professionals and the broader multidisciplinary team to ensure individualised care planning, effective communication and positive health outcomes.
  • Monitor clinical indicators, medication management, wound care, infection prevention and control, incident management and documentation to ensure the highest standards of clinical practice are consistently achieved.
  • Support workforce planning, rostering, recruitment and onboarding of clinical staff while promoting staff engagement, retention and a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
  • Champion a resident-first approach by promoting dignity, choice and independence, ensuring residents and their families are actively involved in care decisions and service improvements.

What we're looking for:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Previous experience in a Clinical Nurse Manager, Care Manager or senior clinical leadership role within aged care.
