The Opportunity

\n

As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will work with other Landscape architects who value connection to Country and community, and excellence in design and delivery, in a supportive, knowledge sharing environment. As part of a small team, this positionprovidesthe opportunity to grow into a leadership role in the future.

\n

The role of a Senior Landscape Architect is to lead project teams, in a professional and efficient manner. Responsibilities include:

\n

Management of assigned projects and co-ordination of project team and consultants from Concept Design through to Construction Documentation

\n

Production of design and documentation in AutoCAD and Revit, and preparation of specifications,schedulesandreports;

\n

Liaison with clients and/or client's representative and act as intermediary between clients and staff

\n

Co-ordinate with consultants and allied disciplines

\n

Undertake project construction phase services such as site inspections & work certifications

\n

Responsible for internal job costing management

\n

Provide mentoring and guidance to staff withassistancefrom Principal Landscape Architect

\n

Provide assistancewith submissions/fee proposals asrequired

\n

Maintain professional and technical knowledge

\n

Adhering to GB-A procedures,processesand office systems, including Quality Assurance

\n

Actively attend events and seminars

\n

Maintain or be working towards professional registration to ensure professional development criteria is met.

\n

Qualifications

\n

Bachelor Degree in Landscape Architecture

\n

Professional Registration with Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA), or working towards it

\n

Experience

\n

At least 7-10 years of experience within the landscape architectural industry

\n

Demonstrated experience in design, contractdocumentationand contract administration

\n

Demonstrated experience in managing and leading project teams

\n

Demonstrated ability to make decisions autonomously with little supervision and correction

\n

Demonstrated experience in compiling and writing proposals and submissions

\n

Good knowledge and use of Revit preferred

\n

Verbal and written communication,leadershipand training skills

\n

High competence in CAD software packages (inc. AutoCAD & Revit); Full Adobe Suite; 3D presentation software (e.gLumion) and MS Office Suite

\n

Demonstrated project management skills.
