CJD Equipment is looking for a motivated 1st Year Apprentice to join our Brisbane team and complete a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology . This is your opportunity to gain practical experience, learn from skilled technicians, and build a long-term career in an industry that helps keep Australia moving.

What You’ll Be Doing: \n

• Learn to service, maintain and repair a range of Volvo construction equipment.
\n
• Develop hands-on skills under the guidance of experienced technicians.
\n
• Use modern tools, diagnostic systems and industry-leading technology.
\n
• Complete your trade qualification while earning on the job.
\n
• Build a strong foundation for future career opportunities within CJD.
\n

What We’re Looking For \n

\n
• A genuine interest in mechanics, machinery or the automotive industry.
\n
• Good mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
\n
• Completed Year 11 or Year 12, ideally with maths and science subjects.
\n
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
\n
• Basic computer skills.
\n
• A positive attitude and pride in your work.
\n
• A commitment to workplace safety and our Zero Harm culture.
\n
• The ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
\n
• Availability to work reasonable overtime and occasional weekends when required to support operational needs
\n
• A current driver’s licence (manual preferred).
\n
• You must also be able to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
\n
