What you'll be doing

\n

South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is committed to improving the care provided to our residents in line with our vision of Working together to improve the health and wellbeing of our community.
\n The Hospital Assistant will provide a Resident focused service delivery, be responsible for performing a high standard of cleaning duties and ensuring the delivery of quality service to residents in the preparation, regeneration, delivery and presentation of meal.

Selection Criteria

\n

    \n
  • Demonstrated experience in Cleaning and Catering services.
    • \n
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team member and independently, including a flexible approach to work practices by providing relief in other service departments as required.
    • \n
  • Physical capability to perform various cleaning and catering skills
    • \n
  • Willingness to undertake training relevant to job role such as working in other departments.
    • \n

Demonstrated ability to adhere to the defined standards of ethical and professional conduct consistent with the current NSW Health Code of Conduct and other professional standards applicable to the position.
