Talent Focus Education is partnering with a prestigious Christian school in the beautiful Whitsundays region to recruit two Secondary Teachers for the 2027 academic year.
We are currently seeking:
- Senior English Teacher – teaching English across Years 7–12
- Maths & Business Teacher – teaching across Secondary year levels
The school provides a Christ-centred education for students from Prep to Year 12 and has a strong community focus, with an emphasis on ensuring students are known, supported and encouraged to achieve their personal best.
About the roles These opportunities would suit teachers who are passionate about their subject areas, enjoy building strong relationships with students and want to become part of a supportive school community.
You will be confident in planning and delivering engaging lessons, differentiating learning to meet individual student needs and maintaining positive classroom environments with high expectations for student engagement and achievement.
About you To be considered, you will need:
- A recognised tertiary teaching qualification
- Current QCT registration or eligibility to register with the Queensland College of Teachers
- Relevant teaching capability in English Years 7–12 OR Mathematics & Business
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative, adaptable and community-minded approach
- An active Christian faith and current church involvement, with values and beliefs aligned with the Christian ethos of the school
