About the role

• Assess and manage claimant injury needs across various claim profiles through sound decision-making, evaluating reasonable and necessary treatment and rehabilitation requirements.
• Maximise return-to-work and return-to-health outcomes by effectively case-managing claimants and coordinating appropriate rehabilitation strategies.
• Maintain high customer service standards and build effective relationships with key stakeholders, demonstrating extensive knowledge of the business, industry, and the full range of customers — acting as an escalation point for colleagues when required.
• Stay current with relevant insurance guidelines, legislation, regulations, court decisions, and policy changes that impact claims functions.

About you

• Experience in the management of bodily injury claims within a Workers Compensation environment
• Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights along with the application and interpretation of legislation.
• High attention to detail and technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting, and communication tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, combined with the ability to balance understanding, empathy, and compassion with the best commercial outcome for AAI
• A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
