Step by Step Interventions is seeking an experienced Certified Behaviour Analyst (CBA) who is also an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our growing multidisciplinary team.

\n

We are looking for a clinician who is passionate about improving quality of life through evidence-based assessment, skill development, Positive Behaviour Support and meaningful capacity-building interventions. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload while collaborating with psychologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and Allied Health Assistants to help clients achieve greater independence, participation and wellbeing.

\nThe Role \n
\n

As a Certified Behaviour Analyst, you will:

\n

\n
\n
• Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments
\n
\n
• Develop and review Positive Behaviour Support Plans
\n
\n
• Deliver capacity-building supports that improve independence and quality of life
\n
\n
• Design and oversee skill acquisition programs
\n
\n
• Support emotional regulation, communication, daily living and social skills development
\n
\n
• Provide coaching and training to families, carers and support teams
\n
\n
• Complete NDIS reports, assessment summaries and behaviour support documentation
\n
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists and Allied Health Assistants
\n
\n
• Develop intervention programs and provide clinical guidance to Allied Health Assistants delivering supports under your supervision
\n
\n
• Participate in regular supervision, peer review and professional development opportunities
\n
\n

You'll also have the opportunity to develop intervention programs, provide clinical guidance to Allied Health Assistants, and see your recommendations implemented consistently across a client's everyday environments.

• Has experience supporting people with disabilities and complex support needs

• Enjoys delivering both capacity‑building and behaviour support services

\n
• Is confident working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
\n
\n
• Values evidence-based practice and ethical service delivery

\n
• Is confident building relationships with families, carers and support networks
\n
\n
• Is passionate about improving quality of life and achieving meaningful outcomes
