We are currently looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team based at our Richlands, Brisbane depot. Please note, this role will involve occasional travel to other Centurion sites and locations as required.

The Opportunity \n

As an IT Business Analyst , you will play a key role in connecting business needs with technology solutions. Working closely with internal stakeholders, customers, development teams and external partners, you will analyse business processes, gather and define requirements, and support the delivery of technology solutions that drive efficiency and continuous improvement.

This is a hands‑on role where you will facilitate workshops, lead requirements gathering, map and improve processes, support system implementations and help drive successful change across the business.

Key Responsibilities \n

\n
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs, requirements and technology challenges.
\n
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions and requirements elicitation sessions.
\n
• Map existing business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
\n
• Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of Centurion's systems, processes and data requirements.
\n
• Act as a key point of contact for new feature requests from the business and customers.
\n
• Translate business requirements into clear requirements for development teams and facilitate solution design.
\n
• Evaluate business requirements and assess off-the-shelf solutions versus custom development options.
\n
• Work closely with the development team on solution design, technology, tools and methodologies.
\n
• Support business process improvement initiatives and system implementations.
\n
• Act as a change agent, supporting stakeholders through the adoption of new systems and processes.
\n
• Develop and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) procedures.
\n
• Create training materials, including quick reference guides and training modules, and deliver training to end users.
\n
• Build strong relationships with IT team members, business users, subject matter experts and external technology stakeholders.
\n

About You \n

To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced Business Analyst with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. You will be comfortable working across both business and technical teams and have the ability to turn complex business requirements into practical technology solutions.

You will ideally bring:

\n
• A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
\n
• A minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Business Analyst.
\n
• Strong experience in stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering and workshop facilitation.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in process mapping, business process improvement and change management.
\n
• Experience supporting system implementations, UAT and end‑user training.
\n
• Experience using JIRA.
\n
• Experience with Visio or other process mapping tools.
\n
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
\n
• Experience using Miro and SharePoint will be highly regarded.
\n
• Experience within the transport, logistics or supply chain industry will be desirable.
\n
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to evaluate and recommend practical technology solutions.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
\n
