\nAbout the Role \n
\n

We’re seeking a Pet Claims Consultant to join our Claims team. In this customer-facing role, you’ll work directly with pet owners, veterinarians, and stakeholders to ensure claims are processed accurately, efficiently, and with compassion. From lodgement to closure, you’ll be part of a team that makes a real difference for people and their pets when they need it most.

• Assessing, processing, and managing pet insurance claims in line with policies and guidelines
\n
\n
• Reviewing veterinary reports and invoices to determine eligibility and coverage
\n
\n
• Communicating empathetically with pet owners, keeping them informed and supported throughout the claims process
\n
\n
• Liaising with veterinarians and clinics to gather essential information
\n
\n
• Identifying and reporting potential fraudulent activity
\n
\n
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations
\n
\n
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the claims team
\n
\n

• Experience in insurance claims or financial services
\n
\n
• Strong understanding of veterinary medical terminology, procedures, and diagnoses
\n
\n
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to show empathy and build rapport
\n
\n
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
\n
\n
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines
\n
\n
• Confidence using data entry systems and office applications
\n
\n
• Negotiation and investigative skills, particularly with customers and service providers
\n
\n
