Legal Counsel, General Commercial & Privacy

A global and leading mobility provider is seeking a Lawyer c4 years PQE level to join their legal team in support of their growing Australian and New Zealand operations. This is a key role that partners closely with stakeholders across the business, ensuring legal risks are effectively managed while supporting strategic objectives and commercial outcomes from tenders and transactions to sourcing, disputes, regulatory, funding, and marketing matters.

Reporting into the General Counsel you will join a small team in a position that is transactional and general commercial contract in nature. You will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts that include customer agreements, supplier contracts, service agreements, and other commercial agreements. This is a broad and varied role best describes as generalist and will also include regulatory compliance, legal disputes & risk management, corporate governance as well as intellectual property, data protection, privacy and marketing.

Seeking 3- 6 years PQE level experience coming from either a law firm or inhouse environment. The ideal background is general corporate and commercial contracts and in addition seeking some experience with privacy and data protection. This is a varied and commercial position and suits someone that self-starting and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
