Dankav Developments is currently seeking an experienced Crane Driver / Dogman to join our construction team for The Alfred project in Mermaid Beach.
We are looking for a reliable and experienced operator who takes pride in their work, has a strong focus on safety, and works well as part of a professional construction team.
This is an opportunity to join Dankav Developments and contribute to the delivery of one of our current major projects, with ongoing work available for the right person.
Working as part of the site team at The Alfred, your responsibilities will include:
Operating cranes safely and efficiently
Carrying out dogging and rigging duties
Directing and coordinating crane lifts
Safely moving and positioning materials around site
Inspecting lifting equipment and ensuring it is fit for use
Following site safety procedures, SWMS and lifting plans
Working closely with the Site Supervisor, Foreman and construction team
Maintaining a safe and organised work area
Ensuring all lifting operations comply with relevant safety requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven experience as a Crane Driver / Dogman
Strong dogging and rigging experience
All relevant licences, tickets and qualifications
A strong understanding of safe lifting practices
Previous construction site experience
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
A reliable, hardworking and professional attitude
The ability to work effectively in a busy construction environment
Ongoing work on The Alfred project
Crane Driver – $60 per hour flat rate
Dogman – $45 per hour flat rate
Professional and supportive site environment
Work on a high-end mixed-use development
Potential for ongoing opportunities for the right person
