Get Staff Now is currently seeking Chefs & Food Service Assistants (FSA) & Cleaners to join our team on aCasual Basis in the Melbourne and Regional Vic region.

We work closely with our staff to ensure that they are paired with the right venue based on their strengths to avoid high-pressure shifts.
\n
Successful applicants would need to possess working rights, a valid food handler's certificate (FSAs) & Food Safety Supervisor (Cooks/ Chefs) and have their own transport (preferred).
\n
The role entails being on-call, able to cover gaps in client's rosters, be able to cope well under pressure, have an easy-going personality, quick decision making and problem solving abilities.

Candidate profile:
\n
To be shortlisted for this position, you are required to possess the following:
\n
Prior experience in Aged care kitchens, kitchen/ hospitality experience is preferred.
\n
Ability to read and interpret dietary information.
\n
A positive and results driven approach with strong communication skills and a flair for excellence.
\n
A commitment to providing a caring and empathetic service to the residents.
\n
A commitment to the principles of Workplace Health & Safety and ensuring a safe environment for residents and staff.
\n
Ability to comply with safe work practices and food handling practices
\n
Eye for detail and quality focused
\n
Prefer candidates with diverse cooking experience
\n
Must have had the Covid vaccines
\n
Current flu shot
\n
Current Police Check
\n
Food handlers/ Food Safety Supervisor (if applicable)
\n
Working rights in Australia
\n
Driver's license and own reliable transport
\n
