Quality Manager

As the Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Hilton's continued growth and reputation for manufacturing excellence. Beyond maintaining compliance, you will help drive business performance by improving operational efficiency, reducing the cost of poor quality, strengthening customer satisfaction, and ensuring the business remains positioned for opportunities across highly regulated industries.

Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and reporting to the CEO, you will lead Hilton's quality assurance and continuous improvement framework, ensuring our integrated management systems remain effective, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.

You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our Quality, Environmental and Welding Management Systems, overseeing audit and assurance programs, managing customer quality performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory, customer and certification requirements.

Your leadership will help strengthen customer relationships, maintain critical industry accreditations, improve manufacturing performance, and foster a culture where quality is viewed as a competitive advantage.

This role offers an ideal blend of strategic leadership and hands-on operational involvement. You will work closely with Production, Engineering, Operations and Senior Leadership teams to embed quality, accountability and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Hilton's Quality, Environmental and Welding Management Systems.
• Maintain and continuously improve ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 3834 certifications.
• Lead internal, external and customer audit programs.
• Drive corrective actions, root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage customer quality performance, complaints, warranty claims and 8D reporting.
• Develop and report meaningful quality metrics, dashboards and performance indicators.
• Partner with operational leaders to strengthen process control, compliance and manufacturing performance.
• Facilitate Quality Management Reviews and governance activities.
• Support new products and projects through quality planning and risk management.
• Lead, coach and develop the Quality Assurance team.
• Periodical travel to Queensland to conduct audits and manage re-accreditation processes.

About you

• 5+ years' experience in a senior quality leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience managing certified Quality Management Systems.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and experience maintaining ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
• Experience with welding quality standards such as ISO 3834, DIN 2303, EN 15085 or equivalent.
• Proven success leading audits, investigations and quality assurance programs.
• Strong understanding of customer compliance requirements, corrective actions and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
• Experience leading and developing Quality Assurance teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Qualifications in Quality Management, Engineering, Internal Auditing or a related discipline.
