As a Motor Claims Advisor focusing on cars, caravans, boats and other leisure vehicles, you'll manage claims from start to finish when customers experience damage, theft or an accident. You'll gather information, guide customers through the process, organise repairs or replacement options and keep things moving towards the best outcome.

Some claims are straightforward while others require you to ask the right questions, assess information and make decisions when the answer isn't always obvious. Along the way, you'll build expertise in claims, customer communication and problem-solving.

\n

You don't need insurance experience to get started. Through structured training, coaching and ongoing support, you'll develop skills in decision‐making, negotiation and customer care, opening the door to specialist, leadership and broader career opportunities across the business.

What you'll be doing

• A full-time role in-office at Chermside
\n
• Take ownership of claims from the start, from lodgement to resolution
\n
• Be the main point of contact for customers, repairers, and assessors, keeping everyone updated and on track
\n
• Manage a portfolio of claims at different stages, working through structured workflow queues and daily priorities
\n
• Review policy details and evidence to make fair, accurate decisions within guidelines
\n
• Approve repairs, arrange hire cars, pay invoices, follow up quotes, and respond to customer updates
\n
• Keep detailed and accurate notes so every claim is clear and compliant
\n
• Handle calls from customers who may be stressed, explaining what happens next and guiding the claim forward
\n
• Build strong knowledge of repairs, assessments and how claims progress from start to finish
\n
