The Underground Asset Health Specialist is the regional lead responsible for Underground HME reliability, predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and asset health performance across Barrick AME Underground operations.

The role drives reliability improvement strategies and asset health programmes that support breakdown reduction, component life optimisation, maintenance quality improvement, and operational performance across Underground fleets.

Qualification Requirements \n

\n
• \n

  Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Reliability Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or related field preferred

\n
• \n

  Professional certification in reliability engineering or asset management is strongly preferred.

\n
• \n

  Certifications may include:

  \n
  \n
  • \n

    CMRP.

  \n
  • \n

    CRE.

  \n
  • \n

    Equivalent reliability or asset management qualifications.

  \n
\n
• \n

  Professional registration with a relevant engineering body is beneficial.

\n

Experience Requirements:

\n

\n
• \n

  Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in reliability engineering, condition monitoring, or asset health management within large-scale underground mining operations.

\n
• \n

  Strong HME reliability experience across multiple sites is preferred.

\n
• \n

  Demonstrated experience developing and driving reliability improvement roadmaps and asset health strategies.

\n
• \n

  Proven experience implementing:
