We’re growing, and we’re looking for passionate people to join our team as a Senior Hairdresser.
At The Straightening Salon, we do things a little differently. We specialise in premium straightening services, but it’s about so much more than the treatment itself. We care about doing beautiful work, looking after our clients properly and creating a salon where our team actually enjoys coming to work.
We’re looking for a Senior Hairdresser who loves what they do, takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a supportive, down-to-earth team.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. We’re looking for someone who is kind, reliable, hardworking, good with people and genuinely wants to keep learning and getting better.
As a Senior Hairdresser, you’ll be looking after your own clients from consultation through to treatment and aftercare.
You’ll specialise in our premium straightening services, creating beautiful, consistent results while making sure every client feels comfortable, listened to and looked after.
We put a big focus on consultation, education and doing things properly rather than rushing people through the chair. We want our clients to trust us, love their hair and want to come back.
You’ll also be part of the wider team, supporting each other, sharing knowledge, maintaining our standards and helping us continue to grow.
Senior Hairdresser applicants must hold a Certificate III in Hairdressing (or equivalent) and have previous salon experience.
We’re looking for availability for at least one late night per week and two Saturdays per month.
