Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Client Services Officer / Administration Assistant to join a well-established professional services business located on the Sunshine Coast. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, personable and enjoys working with clients while supporting a busy team.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering $65,000 – $80,000 + Super, depending on experience. You’ll play an important role in providing quality client service and administrative support across the business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Welcoming clients and professionally managing incoming calls
  • Preparing, collating and uploading client documentation for electronic signing
  • Assisting with the creation and management of work in progress
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential client records and documentation
  • Processing documentation and lodgements with relevant government authorities
  • Liaising with external government departments and regulatory bodies
  • Preparing and distributing client communications and newsletters
  • Assisting with digital marketing and general business communications
  • Monitoring debtors and following up outstanding accounts
  • Providing diary and email management support
  • Providing general administration and office support as required
  • Managing communications with government departments such as the ATO and ASIC

What you’ll need:

  • A minimum of 2–3 years' experience in office administration or client services
  • Previous experience within accounting, financial services or another professional services environment is highly regarded
  • Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
  • Confidence learning and working across different software platforms
  • Experience with Xero, XPM, FYI Docs or FuseSign is advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent time management and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A professional telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills
  • A high level of discretion and confidentiality
  • A positive, adaptable and team-focused attitude
  • Full working rights in Australia
