Senior Health Safety and Wellbeing Advisor \n
At PMHC every employee plays a part in ensuring we

\n achieve this we are seeking an
Senior Health Safety & Wellbeing Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Manager Health, Safety & Wellbeing,
\n you'll provide hands-on, practical HSW advice, guidance and leadership across
\n Council's diverse field and office-based operations. You'll build capability in
\n our leaders and workers and help drive a Safety Always culture.
\n
To succeed in this role you will have:
\n
- \n
- A degree-level
\n qualification in work health and safety, or an equivalent combination of
\n qualifications and experience. \n - Certificate IV in
\n Training & Assessment, and formal qualifications in auditing and
\n investigations. \n - A current C class
\n driver's licence and Construction Induction (White) Card. \n - Thorough knowledge of
\n WHS legislation, regulations, codes of practice and principles, including
\n injury management and workers compensation in NSW. \n - Demonstrated experience
\n in risk management, incident investigation, assurance activities, and
\n rehabilitation and return-to-work case management. \n - High-level written and
\n verbal communication skills and strong digital literacy, with the ability
\n to turn data into meaningful insights for audiences from field staff to
\n Executive. \n
\n
On a typical day you'll be:
\n
- \n
- Advising leaders,
\n workers and stakeholders on WHS and injury management legislation, codes
\n of practice and Council's HSW policies and procedures. \n - Facilitating risk
\n assessments for complex and high-risk activities, and designing and
\n verifying critical controls in the field. \n - Leading incident
\n investigations and working with stakeholders to make sure corrective
\n actions are implemented, closed out and effective. \n - Managing workers
\n compensation, injury management and recovery-at-work cases, and liaising
\n with our insurer and scheme agent. \n - Delivering assurance
\n activities, including critical control checks, audits, inspections and
\n contractor on-site verification. \n - Coaching leaders and
\n delivering training, workshops and education programs to build safety and
\n wellbeing capability. \n - Analysing safety data to
\n produce HSW performance reporting for the Safety Committee and Executive. \n

Remuneration and Benefits
\n
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent 35 hours per
\n week
\n
Salary (exclusive of super): Starting in the range of $112,296.82 to $125,694.47 depending on skills and experience
\n
