Eva Burrows College \n

Vocational Training is a Registered Training Organisation accredited to provide a wide range of courses and qualifications focussed on equipping individuals for work, or further education. The RTO specialises in community service programs such as Business, Leadership & Management, Financial Counselling, Hospitality, Community Services, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Chaplaincy, Ministry and a range of short courses. As part of Eva Burrows College, the national learning centre for The Salvation Army Australia, the RTO is a college for all people. Eva Burrows College contributes to The Salvation Army’s mission to transform lives of the Australian community by combining quality training along with expertise of frontline work to equip and empower individuals for life, mission and service.

About The Role \n

You will be responsible for maintaining compliance in accordance with the requirements of the national regulator and government agencies, overseeing contracts and funding arrangements, maintaining registration with the Australian Skills and Quality Authority (ASQA). Additionally, you will support the RTO staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities. The role is permanent, full time.

Key Responsibilities \n

• Quality management – oversee and monitor the systems, policies and procedures to ensure compliance and quality, and manage risks.
\n
• Stakeholder engagement – work with the national regulator, government departments and colleagues across The Salvation Army to ensure alignment and compliance with quality frameworks.
\n
• Continuous improvement – ensure the evaluation and suitability of the RTO activities, compiling reports and recommendations to ensure improvements and compliance are maintained.
\n
• Support RTO Personnel – ensure the RTO staff and trainers receive appropriate professional development to ensure compliance is maintained and teaching is the highest quality.
\n
• Managing staff – work with, manage and provide guidance to the Quality Team to ensure that the aims, objectives and expectations of the RTO are met.
\n

About You \n

\n
• At least 5 years experience in a vocational education and training compliance role
\n
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge across a number of functional VET areas
\n
• Tertiary qualifications in Adult Education
\n
• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
\n
• Demonstrated experience in engaging with and managing the expectations of stakeholder groups at all levels
\n
• Demonstrated ability to lead and support cross functional working groups and manage projects
\n
• Proven experience in a range of communication mediums and information technology including Student Management and Learning Management Systems.
